Nimai (Chaitanya) became a well-known scholar at a young age. When He was just sixteen years old He started His own chatushpathi (village school conducted by a learned brahmana). In this school He would simply teach Sanskrit grammar by cleverly relating the rules and definitions to Krishna. In this way, His students got an opportunity to chant the names of the Lord.
